Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- If you enjoy exploring the great outdoors at any of New York State’s State Parks, you can now get even more out of your visit with a new smartphone app.
The app is called “Oh, Ranger! NY State Parks.” It has historic information, maps and direction for more than 200 state parks. And, once you download it, most of the information is accessible without the Internet.
For now, it’s only available on the iPhone and iPad, but and android version is in the works.
