Manlius (WSYR-TV) - Attendees at Fayetteville-Manlius High School’s graduation shouldn’t worry if they think they’re seeing double. This year’s senior class simply has a conspicuously large number of twins.
Seven sets of twins will participate in this year's graduation on Friday night. The event might be the last scholastic activity many of the twins will participate in, as all 14 depart for different colleges next year.
“We’ve gone to school everyday together for 18 years, so it’ll be different waking up and not going to school with her every day,” said Matt Wells, who will graduate with his sister Sarah Wells.
“You always know you have that person you can count on if you need something. It'll be weird. We'll have to find someone, maybe a best friend to act as the twin,” said Mary Bucklin, who is graduating with her sister Hannah, the school’s Top Academic Achiever.
The class will walk across the stage at the War Memorial Friday night at 6 p.m.
