Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – The Federal Trade Commission is looking for the public’s help in putting a stop to robocalls and is offering an award for the best idea.
The commission will award $50,000 cash and a trip to Washington, DC to the person who submits the best solution to eliminate robocalls to cell phones and landlines.
The FTC says it has already received more than 200 submissions.
The contest deadline is 5 p.m. Eastern Time on Jan. 17.
The winner will be announced on April 17.
