Fabius Mega Millions winner played same numbers for 10 years

Fabius (WSYR-TV) - A Fabius man is $1 million richer after being presented with a check from the New York State Lottery on Wednesday.

Edwin Bobbette Jr. bought his winning Mega Millions ticket at the Pompey Mall in August.

He said he has played the same numbers for the last 10 years.

Previously, the most he ever won was $701 in January.

“I play it all the time,” Bobbette said. “Everybody says I’m nuts because I’m wasting my money, but here I am.”
