Auburn (WSYR-TV) – A newspaper delivery person alerted Cayuga County 911 early Sunday morning to a damaged minivan in the roadway. State Police say the driver was killed in an accident overnight.
State Police say David A. Connors, 37, of Auburn was driving his 2003 Honda minivan westbound on W. Genesee St. when he reached the top of a small knoll, lost control of the vehicle and crossed into the eastbound lane. The minivan went into a ditch and rolled over several times before striking a culvert. Mr. Connors was ejected from the car.
Troopers do not know the reason Connors lost control of the vehicle, and the Onondaga County Medical Examiner’s investigation into his cause of death is still pending.
