Father of slain toddler charged in drive-by shooting
SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) - 20-year-old Rashad Walker Sr. was arrested on Saturday for an alleged drive-by-shooting on March 20th, in front of a barber shop on South Salina Street.
Police say Walker fired several shots from a vehicle at a 22-year-old man in what appears to be a gang-related shooting.
The victim was shot in the neck. Police say he will recover.
Walker is charged with 2nd Degree Assault and Criminal Possession of a Weapon.
Police said Walker is suspected of being involved in other shootings.
Walker is the father of Rashad Walker Jr. The 2-year-old was killed in 2010 during a gang related shooting.
