Baldwinsville (WSYR-TV) – Fire investigators are looking into what caused a fire at a vacant house in the village of Baldwinsville on Thursday morning.

The fire broke shortly before 6 a.m. on Mechanic Street near Elizabeth Street.

It took firefighters about an hour put out the fire.

One firefighter fell through a floor, but was not injured. Officials say the firefighter fell through the floor because of the building’s dilapidated condition, not because of the fire itself.
