Fire investigator: Child playing with lighter started fire
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Syracuse fire officials say a little girl playing with a lighter led to a fire on Bellevue Avenue in the city on Thursday.
They said the child is 10 years old. Because of her age, they declined to identify the child.
The child does not live in the home that was heavily damaged in the blaze.
A dog was killed during the incident.
They said the child had not been charged and their investigation was closed.
