Firefighters respond to small fire at Freedom of Espresso

Fayetteville (WSYR-TV) – Crews responded to a small fire at a Freedom of Espresso location in Fayetteville on Thursday morning.

According to officials, the fire began in a coffee roaster.

The fire created a considerable amount of smoke on West Genesee Street near the intersection with Highbridge Street.

The coffee shop wasn’t damaged, but a hose had to be stretched across the busy street, creating substantial back-ups during rush hour.
