Former Liverpool High School teacher, local attorney charged with forcible touching
Liverpool (WSYR-TV) – A former Liverpool High School Teacher who currently works as an attorney in the village is facing charges that he forcibly touched a female employee.
Thomas McCarthy, 52, of 602 Vine St., was arrested by Onondaga County Sheriff’s Deputies on Tuesday in connection to the alleged incident.
They say the incident occurred at McCarthy’s law office after work hours.
McCarthy resigned from the Liverpool Central School District earlier in the year.
He was arraigned in Liverpool Village Court and taken to the Justice Center in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone who feels they may have been a victim of McCarthy to call the sheriff's office's abused persons unit at (315) 435-3092.
