Former Manlius Town Clerk accused of stealing more than $122k
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- A 45-year-old LaFayette woman is accused of stealing more than $122,000 in bail and fine money that she was paid in cash while employed as Manlius Town Court Clerk.
Kimberly J. Amidon was charged Monday with grand larceny, defrauding the government and falsifying business records – all are felonies. Additionally, Amidon faces a misdemeanor charge of official misconduct.
Amidon is no longer employed as the Manlius Town Court Clerk. She will appear in the town of Pompey Court on Tuesday.
