Former Manlius town court clerk pleads not guilty to stealing more than $122K

Manlius (WSYR-TV) -- A former Manlius town court clerk pleaded not guilty to embezzlement on Tuesday.

Kimberly Amidon, 45, is accused of stealing more than $122,000 in bail and fine money that she was paid in cash while employed as the court clerk.

Amidon is charged with grand larceny, defrauding the government and falsifying business records.

The alleged thefts happened last year. Amidon denies the allegations and will return to court in July.
