Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – A former North Syracuse school district bus driver accused of sex crimes with an underage girl in Onondaga County is out on bail again after being accused of sex crimes involving an underage victim in Oswego County.
In June, Joseph Sanfilippo of Van Antwerp Drive in Cicero was charged with rape in the third degree, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, in connection to an alleged incident involving a girl under the age of 17.
The 45-year-old was dismissed from his post as a substitute driver in the North Syracuse Central School District upon being charged. At the time, the Sheriff’s Office said it did not believe Sanfilippo had any other alleged victims.
Now, he’s been accused of having sexual contact with an underage victim – this time in Fulton.
In August, Sanfilippo was charged with two counts of attempted sexual abuse in the first degree, two counts of attempted criminal sexual act in the first degree, endangering the welfare of a child, unlawful imprisonment in the second degree, making a punishable false written statement, and second-degree harassment.
Fulton Police say Sanfilippo tried to force a person under the age of 13 to have inappropriate sexual contact with him.
Police say he is once again out on bail.
