Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- A former Syracuse University football star is leading the way in another concussion lawsuit against the NFL.
According to the
Washington Post, Art Monk is the lead plaintiff suing the league and helmet manufacturer “Riddell.”
Sixty-two others are joining the fight. Monk claims he suffers short term memory loss, headaches, and speech difficulties. The lawsuit alleges that players who suffered concussions were told by the NFL not to be overly concerned and were put back into games just minutes after the head injuries.
