Former Syracuse man found guilty of murder
Wampsville (WSYR-TV) – The man accused of shooting and killing an acquaintance back in 2008 has been found guilty of murder in the first degree.
Chauncey Winchell, 51, shot and killed 41-year-old Mark Murray. Murray’s body wasn’t found until two years ago when it was discovered in a shallow grave in Oneida.
Winchell will be sentenced on May 1.
