Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- A former volunteer wrestling coach in Central Square pleaded guilty to enticing a 12-year-old boy to send him sexually explicit video and photos of himself by cell phone.

As part of a plea deal Thursday, 26-year-old Joshua Rice, of Brewerton, admitted that he enticed the boy via text message in July 2010.

Rice is in Federal custody pending his sentencing hearing, which is scheduled for July 11.

Rice faces up to 30 years in Federal prison. Upon his release, Rice will serve a term of supervised release of up to five years and will have to register as a sex offender.
