SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) - Four people were stabbed Saturday night during a large fight inside Twist Lounge on West Genesee Street in Syracuse.
When Syracuse police officers arrived on scene at 11:30 p.m., they said about 50 people were fighting inside the bar.
The officers attempted to break up the fight but were met with resistance from several people, forcing them to call for assistance. More Syracuse police officers along with Onondaga County Sheriff’s Deputies and State Troopers responded and eventually broke up the crowd.
Four people were stabbed during the melee, including:
- Danzel Crouch, 21, was stabbed in the buttocks and received lacerations to his chin and right ear.
- Terrence Warren, 21, was stabbed in both his left and right arms.
- Calvin Odom, 22, had a large laceration to his forehead and a stab wound to his right hip.
- Shawn Adams, 21, was stabbed in the left hip and right thigh.
All of their injuries are considered non-life-threatening.
It is unknown at this time what caused the fight. The victim's were unable to provide officers with any suspect information.
Seven people were arrested on a variety of charges including resisting arrest, Obstruction of Government Administration and Unlawful Assembly.
Twist Lounge has been the scene of multiple disturbances and fights over the past several months including this past Friday night when there was another large fight at the bar.
The Syracuse Police Department is referring this business to the New York State Liquor Authority for numerous violations including a disorderly premise.
