Baldwinsville (WSYR-TV) -- Music filled the air outside the Baldwinsville School District’s Transportation Center Thursday morning, as co-workers of Audrey Gleason stopped to remember their friend. The 55-year-old bus driver – and mom of four – was killed in a car crash in Central New York this past weekend.

Those at Thursday’s ceremony say they’ll remember Audrey’s positivity and joyful spirit.

“As early as the morning, she was bright, smiling…and just loved kids,” said co-worker Chris Long.

“She was a great, great person…always singing, always happy,” said Audrey’s friend Donna Calkins.

Gleason’s daughter Kelly, a junior at Baker High School, was badly hurt in the crash. She remains in serious condition at a Buffalo area hospital.
