Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- One day after our story aired about a man wanted for violating his probation and fleeing from police, 'Fugitive of the Week' Joseph Boyden was arrested by police.

A viewer tip led Task Force members to an office in Baldwinsville Tuesday morning and that's where they took Boyden into custody. Boyden, 26, told police he was just about to turn himself in.

This is arrest number 234 for OntheLookout.net.

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- A man from Mattydale who got arrested and fled from police is on the run again. Police say he could be hiding out in the Oswego area.

We’re putting you “On the Lookout” to see if you can help police find this week’s fugitive, 26-year-old Joseph Boyden.

Boyden is wanted for violating his probation. He got arrested in 2010 when he sped off after sheriff’s deputies pulled him over.

“Our concern is that he would do it again and that would endanger the general public,” said Fugitive Task Force Supervisor, Joe Ciciarelli. “He knows he’s wanted. We’ve talked to relatives, as well as friends and he has stated to them, ‘I know there’s a warrant, so I’ve got to get out of here.’”

All the information authorities have point to Boyden being in either the Oswego County area or the northern part of the county.

“If Mr. Boyden is watching us, the best thing he can do is turn himself in,” Ciciarelli said.

If you know where Boyden is call police at 473-7625.
