Oswego (WSYR-TV) – A 45-year-old Fulton man was arrested Wednesday on sex charges involving two girls, one under the age of 13 and the other under the age of 12.
Martin Lain Woodward of 345 Rathburn Rd., was arrested for two counts of rape in the first degree, a felony; two counts of criminal sex act in the first degree, a felony; sex abuse in the second degree, a misdemeanor; and sex conduct against a child, a felony. According to the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office, the incidents included various sex acts involving a victim in the Town of Hannibal in 2003 and 2004.
He was arraigned in Town of Scriba Court and taken to the Oswego County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond. He is scheduled to return to Town of Hannibal Court on Jan. 10.
Woodward was simultaneously charged with sex abuse in the first degree, a felony, for an incident involving another victim that occurred in November 2001 in the town of Granby. That victim was under 12 years old.
For the latter charge, he was arraigned in the Town of Scriba Court. He is scheduled to return to Town of Granby Court to answer to that charge on Jan. 9.
