Fulton man charged with raping child

Fulton (WSYR-TV) – A Fulton man is facing a felony rape charge after being accused of having sexual contact with a child.

The Oswego County Sheriff’s Office charged 23-year-old David Gagnon of Woodland Drive in Fulton with rape in the first degree, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child.

Sheriff’s Investigators say the incident occurred in a Town of Hannibal residence in May 2012. The alleged victim is under the age of 13.

He was arraigned in Town of Scriba Court and taken to the Oswego County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.

He is scheduled to return to court on Jan. 29.
