Funeral arrangements set for John Gorke

Manlius (WSYR-TV) - Funeral arrangements are now set for John Gorke, the state trooper who was struck and killed Friday morning while riding his bike along route 20 in Pompey. Calling hours take place Monday at the Newell-Fay funeral home in Manlius from 2-4pm then again from 6-8pm.
Officer Gorke will be laid to rest Tuesday after funeral services, also to be held at the Newell-Fay home.
The 19-year state police veteran died after he was hit by a car. So far, no tickets have been issued in the accident.
