Lebanon, Madison County (WSYR-TV) - State Police say a person was killed this morning on Route 12B in Madison County when they lost control of their vehicle and collided with a tractor trailer.
The crash happened around 8:10 AM on State Route 12B in the Madison County Town of Lebanon.
The driver killed in the crash was heading southbound on 12B when they lost control of their vehicle and drifted into the northbound lane. It then struck a tractor trailer heading in the other direction.
The person killed was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The driver of the tractor trailer is OK.
State Police say it was snowing at the time of the crash, and the roadway was covered in snow.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing. State Police have not released the identity of the person killed pending notification of their family.
