BRUSHTON, N.Y. (AP) - Hundreds of mourners filled a church and a high school auditorium for the funeral of four family members killed when a tractor-trailer plowed into vehicles waiting at a highway work zone.

The Watertown Daily Times reports the church service was in Brushton, 150 miles northwest of Albany, and simulcast at the nearby high school. Laurie Dana, her two daughters and mother-in-law Janet Dana were among six who died in a crash in nearby Antwerp Thursday.

The girls, 11-year-old Lauryn and 14-year-old Caitlyn, were students at St. Lawrence Central School, where their mother was a speech teacher. Janet Dana was a former teacher. Also killed was 14-year-old student Shannon Planty, whose funeral is Wednesday.

The crash also killed 59-year-old Maryann Gregory, whose husband is a former school superintendent.
