Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- If you’ve ever gotten a phone call or a knock at your door from someone with an energy services company (ESCO), a state commission want to hear from you.

The group is looking for input from folks who purchased energy from an ESCO, as well as anyone who has been asked to switch.

The state commission is doing a preview of the more than 80 ESCOs in the state.

Consumer comments may be submitted electronically by e-filing for Case 12-M-0476 or send them to the Commission Secretary at secretary@dps.ny.gov.

Those unable to submit electronically may mail or deliver them to Secreatry, NYS Public Service Commission, 3 Empire State Plaza, Albany, NY, 12223-1350.

In addition, the commission is asking you to fill out an electronic survey about your customer experience with ESCO’s.
