Boonville (WSYR-TV) -- Authorities in Oneida County seized synthetic marijuana from a shop in Boonville after a juvenile allegedly fell ill due to the drugs at the Oneida County/Boonville Fair last month.

The owner of the Sporting Edge, located on Main Street, in the village of Boonville, is accused of being in violation of local law.

69-year-old Thomas M. Seymour, of Lowville, has been charged with the sale and possession of synthetic marijuana.

Seymour has since been issued an appearance ticket and is expected to appear in court at a later date.
