Health officials warn of possible flu vaccine delay in Oneida County
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - The Oneida County Health Department says their shipment of the flu vaccine has possibly been delayed by four to eight weeks.
Health officials had planned to make the shot available during their regularly scheduled clinics in Utica and Rome - and during specialized flu clinics in October and November.
Instead, they are encouraging everyone to get vaccinated as soon as possible through their primary care physician or at their local pharmacy.
The health department does have limited quantities of the pediatric vaccine and flu mist.
