BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (AP) - Retiring U.S. Rep. Maurice Hinchey is making one last tour of his upstate New York district to say thank you and goodbye.
Hinchey, 74, is retiring this year after 10 terms in Congress.
Democrat Hinchey plans to meet Monday with supporters and local officials in Binghamton, Ithaca and Owego.
Hinchey plans to travel through Ulster, Dutchess, Orange, and Sullivan counties before his term ends at the end of the year.
Hinchey represents the 22nd District, which stretches west from the Hudson Valley to Ithaca
