BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - Border authorities are warning travelers there could be heavy traffic at crossings this weekend because of the Canadian Thanksgiving and U.S. Columbus Day holidays.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection says people should make sure they've got the proper documents to smooth their ways through checkpoints.
