Horses safe after trailer catches fire on Thruway
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Multiple horses are safe after a trailer they were riding in caught fire on the New York State Thruway.
The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. near Route 57 in Liverpool.
State Police say none of the horses were roaming free on the roadway. They were removed from the trailer and under control.
No people were injured during the incident. A portion of the Thruway was shut down during the incident.
