Town of Tully (WSYR-TV) - Sheriff's Deputies have identified the two victims from a motorcycle accident Friday night that left one person dead, and another hospitalized. And, they say the motorcycle operator was drunk at the time of the crash.
Deputies say Tracy Burlingame, 26, of 2270 Route 11 in LaFayette died, when the motorcycle she was a passenger on veered off Sky High Road in Tully, and went into thick brush.
Crash investigators say Matthew Burlingame, 32, apparently lost control of his motorcycle. They say Burlington crawled to a nearby residence and yelled for help. He suffered a leg injury, and was transported to Crouse Hospital for treatment. At the hospital, Burlingame was ticketed for driving while intoxicated, and deputies say additional charges may be filed.
Fabius (WSYR-TV) – A woman has died Friday night following a motorcycle accident on Sky High Road near the Fabius/Tully line.
Police say a man and a woman, both in their twenties, were on the motorcycle when it crashed at about 9:15 p.m.; the man, who was the driver, suffered serious injuries and crawled to a nearby house, where the people inside called 911.
The woman, a passenger on the bike, died from her injuries.
There is no word yet on the man’s condition; the identities of the victims have not yet been released.
