Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – After the State DOT initially indicated I-690 westbound over Onondaga Creek would re-open on June 28, officials now say it will remain closed through July 3.
Officials explained that the delay was caused by the late arrival of a large crane.
The crane arrived on Thursday morning.
The portion of I-690 over North Salina Street and the Onondaga Creek was closed on Friday, June 14 as crews work to replace the concrete bridge decks. Click here for details on detours
