Injured West Webster firefighter throws first pitch at Yankees spring training game
Tampa (WSYR-TV / WROC-TV) – One of the firefighters injured in a Christmas Eve ambush near Rochester got a special honor at Yankees spring training.
Injured West Webster firefighter Joe Hofstetter threw out the first pitch in Tampa on Wednesday at the New York Yankees spring training game.
Hofstetter was one of two firefighters injured after being shot after responding to a house fire that police believe was set as a trap. Two other firefighters were killed.
