Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Excellus BlueCross BlueShield says it will repay Onondaga County nearly $2.5 million.

The prominent insurer as well as an independent auditor confirmed that it had overcharged the OnPoint self insurance fund for out-of-network claims for approximately five years.
