Investigators identify man killed in Scriba crash

Scriba (WSYR-TV) - One person is dead after a car crash in the Oswego County town of Scriba.

The Oswego County Sheriff's Office have identified the victim as 21-year-old Jordan Davies of Oswego.

The crash happened just before 10:00 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of County Route 176 and Black Creek Road.

Sheriff's deputies say Davies was heading north on County Route 176 when he lost control of the vehicle before hitting a utility pole and a vacant house.
 
Investigators say speed may have been a factor, but the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
