Ithaca Police investigating Sunday shooting
Ithaca (WSYR-TV) – Ithaca Police are looking for a suspect after a shooting that occurred on Elm Street Sunday evening.
Police responded to a report of gun shots on the 200 block of Elm Street around 10:48 p.m.
When police and emergency crews responded to the location they found a person who had been shot multiple times.
The victim had reportedly been shot while walking near his residence.
Three bullets struck the 26-year-old Ithaca man. Police believe four or five shots were fired.
Police say the suspect was a black male with a small build.
The victim was taken to a hospital in Sayre, Pa., for treatment.
