Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - A prominent Central New York broadcaster signed off for the last time Tuesday night.

After 34 years, WSTM's Jackie Robinson announced last week that she would be retiring from her anchor position.

Robinson became the first African-American anchor at WSTM in 1985.

Later this year, she will join the likes of NewsChannel 9 anchors Rod Wood and Carrie Lazarus as she is inducted into the New York State Broadcasters Association’s Hall of Fame.
