Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – A tractor-trailer caused substantial delays for drivers in the city of Syracuse on Tuesday afternoon when it jackknifed on I-690 Eastbound.

The incident occurred just before the West Street exit.

Police say the driver told them he was in the center lane when a van cut in and caused him to take evasive action. The right hand lane was closed after the accident, which occurred around 1:30 p.m., and reopened around 3 p.m.

No one was injured during the incident. No tickets were issued.
