Manlius (WSYR-TV) – A 23-year-old Jamesville man was arrested on Wednesday in connection with the destruction of swan eggs in the village of Manlius.

Ross Leone was charged with criminal mischief, petit larceny, criminal trespass, and criminal possession of stolen property, all misdemeanors; as well as interference with fish and wildlife, a violation.

The shattered eggs were discovered at the village’s iconic Swan Pond on Sunday.

Leone was taken to the Onondaga County Justice Center to be held on $1500 cash or bond bail.

He is scheduled to return to Village of Manlius Court on June 7 at 7 p.m.
