Syracuse (WSYR-TV/ABC News) – The View mainstay Joy Behar will soon leave the show after more than 16 years.
According to the network, Behar will leave when her contract expires in August.
In a statement, ABC said it wishes Behar the best in her next chapter and thanked her for being instrumental in the show’s success since its beginning.
The 70-year-old woman has been a host on The View since it debuted in 1997.
