Judge: ‘Choose Life’ license plate in NC is unconstitutional

Syracuse (WSYR-TV/CNN) – A federal judge in North Carolina has ruled that the state can’t issue “Choose Life” plates without offering ones with different viewpoints.

Pro-choice advocates and the American Civil Liberties Union praised the decision.

But pro-life advocates say the ruling suggests the state will now have to offer a "kill the sea turtles plate" to counter the "save the sea turtles" version.
