Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – A former Skaneateles auto dealer who swindled an elderly neighbor has more time to pay her back.
Pat Bombard admitted in 2011 that he stole $100,000 from Erma Jerva.
When he was sentenced to probation, Judge Anthony Aloi ordered him to repay the money he owes Jerva, including interest.
So far, Bombard has repaid the majority of what he owes Jerva.
On Tuesday morning, Aloi gave Bombard until Nov. 25 to repay the balance, $46,000.
Bombard has also pleaded guilty to felony scheme to defraud in several instances in which he stole from customers at his auto dealership.
The Skaneateles man had been at the center of numerous investigations since 2009.
