Syracuse, New York (WSYR-TV) - Syracuse Police say Arturo Nollie, 32, robbed the Kentucky Fried Chicken at 825 Butternut Street Saturday afternoon around 5:40 p.m. and ran away with cash from the register. He was caught by several employees who followed him out of the store a short while later.
Police say Nollie had threatened employees, claiming he had a gun, before throwing the register to the ground, breaking it open and he ran away with an undisclosed amount of money. Nollie was caught on the 800 block of Park Street and taken into custody by officers.
Nollie is charged with robbery. He was admitted to Saint Joseph's Hospital after complaining of difficulty breathing. He will be arraigned in city court once he is released from medical care.
