LaFayette man saves dog from fire
LaFayette (WSYR-TV) -- A LaFayette man is being recognized for acting quick to rescue a dog when his neighbor’s trailer after it caught fire Thursday night on Coye Road.
Police say 52-year-old Robert Griffin saw the smoke and immediately banged on the windows to see if anyone was inside. Police say he then broke a window and used a pool ladder to climb inside, crawled on the floor and rescued a German Shepherd trapped inside.
The trailer was destroyed, but no one was hurt.
