Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- It’s your last chance to make a tax deductible donation for the year and organizations are hoping you’re in the giving mood.
The Rescue Mission says it has seen an increase in the number of people being served, but are still behind on donations for the year. The organization says it’s hoping the last minute donations will help them catch up.
“Certainly financial contributions are key, but the programs are also supported by the sales at our Thrifty Shopper stores and we do need donations of clothing and folks to shop at our stores as well; those are a big help,” explained the Rescue Mission’s Chief Development Officer Carolyn Hendrickson.
