Legislation passed to dedicate stretch of highway to fallen Oneida Marine
Oneida (WSYR-TV) – Legislation has been passed to dedicate a stretch of highway in Madison County to a fallen US Marine.
Route 365 in the city of Oneida will be renamed Lance Corporal Jeremy Lasher Memorial Highway.
Lasher died in Afghanistan in 2009 at the age of 27.
He graduated from Oneida High School and was a member of the Verona Fire Department.
The portion of highway spans the stretch between Routes 5 and 365.
