(WSYR-TV, Syracuse) - The threat for severe weather is over for central New York as the sun has set, and temperatures are beginning to cool.  Any lingering areas of rain will dry up, leaving us with partly cloudy skies tonight.  Temperatures will drop into the upper 50s to around 60 degrees.

No problems are expected on the roads tonight or early Friday, although some fog could form in areas that saw rain Thursday afternoon.
