Liverpool (WSYR-TV) -- In an effort to make sure kids are keeping up in class, the Liverpool School District is revamping report cards at the elementary level.
Beginning this school year, rather than a letter grade, report cards will be standards-based.
Teachers will provide parents with information specific to the skills their child has mastered, is struggling with or is working on.
They will be handed out once every trimester. In November, March and June, instead of four times a year in the past.
