Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Thousands are checking out a video made by Liverpool High School students as it makes its way around the internet. The class of 2010's senior video involved most of the school's building and about 200 students - and they shot it all in one take.

The video is called a "lip dub," where people lip synch along with a song to make a music video. In this case, they used "I Gotta Feeling," by the Black Eyed Peas.

This year's Broadcasting Technology class at LHS wanted to do a senior project that was different than previous years. Armed with a camera, iPad, bull horn, and the school's speaker system the students zigzagged through the school. "Jordan [Harmon] was leading the way and I was behind," said Jamie Campagna who worked on producing the video. "I'd look away and he's be gone around the next corner."

"The challenge was to get through the large building in five minutes. The song is 5:12 long. To get from the 400 wing to the auditorium is quite a distance to go in five minutes," said Liverpool Broadcasting Teacher Sean Brown.

It was quite a task and had to be carefully planned out.

"A couple of days before we took my camera, with a stabilizer and walked through the school - we had a map of the school and etched it all out," said Jordan Harmon who worked on producing the video.

They gave the participating students a packet of information with the route through the building, and told them where they were supposed to be and when. The whole goal was to do the entire thing without having to do any editing, and aside from some color correction they succeeded. The whole video was shot in a single take.

The project, they say, was meant to bring everyone together. And it did.
