Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - A local trucking company is looking to help tornado victims in Oklahoma.
David Clark, part-owner of Syracuse Transportation, is hoping to fill one of his refrigerated tractor trailers with food and other necessities and personally drive it to the devastated area
"I just couldn't imagine - still cant imagine = what the parents are going through. 24 hours ago they were family and, in a blink of an eye, everything is gone. So I just want to do whatever I can," said Clark.
Clark says he has reached out to the Red Cross to see if the agency needs help transporting donations. But he's also reaching out to neighbor to see if they want to donate and fill his truck.
The 53-foot trailer can haul 80,000 pounds worth of goods.
"I just really hope people will come together. It's not about money, it's not about greed. It's about people helping other people," he said.
